This January the AVN Awards took place in the fabulous Las Vegas, and our Laws was lucky enough to attend, the jammy sod ha-ha!

For nearly 30 years the AVN Awards has been the biggest night for the Adult Industry and receiving an AVN Award is a huge honor. Almost 100 awards are given out in categories such as Best Video, Best New Starlet, Most Outrageous Sex Scene, Best Group Sex Scene and Best Selling DVD of the Year.

The Expo is attended by everyone and anyone within in the Adult Industry from Production Houses to Directors, Producers, Films Crews, Models, Porn Stars, Music Acts and many more!

While Laws was out there, she was given a once in a life time opportunity to drive a Ferrari 430 round a race track with a professional racing car driver.

Nicknamed ‘The Diamond in the Desert’, The Las Vegas Motor Speedway (LVMS) is one of the world’s most stylish and advanced motor-sport systems, holding oval races, a drag strip and the DR experience. The LVMS is situated just 20-minutes from the bright lights of the famous Las Vegas Strip.

Laws attended the jaw dropping day with her friend Melissa Monet and had the experience of a life time!

Laws took her little hand held camera with her to capture the memorable moments of the day, and I think you will all be a little bit jealous when you watch it. I know I was while I was editing it, we’d all love to drive a Ferrari 430 in Las Vegas!!!!

You might have all heard the news about the law that has been brought into the US.

The Mayor of Los Angeles has signed new laws that will require porn stars to use condoms on set.

Pornographic film productions across the US were shut down for a short time last year after an adult film performer tested positive for HIV.

It is estimated that as many as 90% of all pornographic films produced in the US are made in Los Angeles.

The news has been welcomed by people in the health profession but the porn industry say it could force them to leave the city and move else where to film.

Hustler and Forsaken Pictures, two of America’s biggest industries have already been fined for not supplying their actors with condoms or other protective equipment.

When the news hit the UK, BBC Radio 1 interviewed Keiran Lee who is originally from Derby but now lives in Los Angeles on the matter at hand, and as you can imagine, he was not in favour of the new law.

After reading his interview, Laws got a surprise phone call from the BBC asking her if she would like to do an interview for them to give a UK porn industry perspective on the new US law. Woweeeeeeee!!!!

The excited Laws headed down to the BBC at the Mailbox in Birmingham to be interviewed live from London by Chris Smith.
